Manipulators
Manipulators are the high-performance, high-speed manual material-handling solution. All of our manipulator components are mass-produced and stocked, ready to be assembled for your order. one of the models shown below can be chosen depending on the weight of the load and end effector, and the reach of the situation at hand.
Manipulators are sized according to the moment created by the weight of the end effector (gripper, vacuum caps, etc), plus the weight of the load (your product) plus the weight of the arm itself, times the reach radius of the arm.
For example an M15 manipulator can withstand a moment of up to 15,000 in lbs from the 1st axis at the "shoulder". An M55 manipulator can withstand 55,000 in lbs.
