Lightweight Industrial Cranes
At Givens Engineering, we are the number one industrial light crane manufacturer in Canada and we have over 20 years of experience providing quality industrial material-handling equipment. We offer an extensive selection of industrial light cranes from bridge cranes and workstation cranes, to jib cranes and Slide-Column Cranes.
Jib Crane
Our G-Rail™ jib cranes are engineered to be one of the lightest lifting systems in the world. That’s important when working with jib cranes because rotational momentum must be kept to a minimum. These jib cranes are often “foundation-less”, allowing for a quick, efficient and cost-effective crane installation.

Stainless Steel Overhead Crane
We offer a selection of custom engineered stainless steel overhead cranes and lifting systems. Stainless steel cranes are ideal for material-handling in environments where contamination must be avoided, in corrosive environments, or in areas that are frequently washed or disinfected (such as in food processing).
Stainless Steel Jib Cranes
We manufacture stainless steel jib cranes that are ideal for corrosive and material processing environments. Our jib cranes are made to withstand frequent wash-downs while still maintaining their lightweight properties, ideal for food and pharmaceutical processing.
KBK Bridge Crane
Bridge cranes are characterized by the bridge, which is the moving beam, and two stationary rails, the runways.
KBK cranes were some of the first enclosed track cranes invented. Enclosed track rails have largely replaced the older I-beam style bridge cranes that were used previously. We offer a selection of KBK bridge cranes that can be tailored to your specific industry needs.
Slide-Column Crane
The slide-column crane lifts a load straight up and down. The one pictured lifts auto batteries. A slide column keeps the load held rigidly and can put a load down underneath an obstruction (for example, under a car hood). Larger slide-column cranes are useful in eliminating the swinging that can often result from using tractor drives with heavy loads, for example when moving engines.
